Management Board
The Management Board have overall responsibility for the running of the Fund.

They meet four times a year to discuss our future strategy, and help Fund staff make decisions about initiatives and campains. Some will also visit us periodically to ensure that our Help and Advice team are getting assistance out to those who need it.
Six members of the Management Board are directly elected, in a vote open to all qualifying Fund members (i.e. those paying more than £2 per month from their salary or pension). The remainder are nominated either directly by the Civil Service, or by the Council of Civil Service Unions.
In recent years, the Fund has changed its rules to ensure that more people get the chance to serve on the Board. All elected members sit on the Board for three-years; and can only serve two consecutive terms before they have to take 12 months off.
