No matter how small the coinage or currency you find, the Fund can put it to good use.
We have over 300 workplaces currently organising collections of foreign currency in the UK, which have raised over £27,376 since we introduced the scheme!
And with the collections still going on, we aim to raise even more in the next few years.
If you manage to collect over 5 kilograms of currency, our partners in this scheme, CCI, will come and collect your consignment free of charge.
Virtually anything, as long as it’s currency, is welcome: All pre-Eurozone currency (such as the French Franc, the German Mark, etc) can still be collected, as can any world currency, and pre-decimal UK coinage. We won’t turn away any sterling that ends up in there either!
