Get Ready For Fund Week!

It’s time to get ready for the 2009 Fund Week – which should be even bigger and better than last year.

Nearly £3,000 was raised by staff working in the London and North West regions of the Ministry of Justice last year. However, the 2009 event – which is taking place between 12-18 October – is also being publicised within the main Department for Work and Pensions too.

And there’s absolutely nothing to stop you taking part, even if you don’t work for either organisation.

We’re looking for people to organise fundraising events, raising money and awareness, within their offices. Or you could let your imagination run wild, and put on something even more spectacular!

Fund Week is being co-ordinated by our Fundraising Initiatives Manager, Clare Bridges.

She says, “Our aim is to make Fund Week a fundraising extravaganza, and one of the most important events for the Fund every year.

“Last year showed just how successful the event might be, even though we opened it up to a limited number of people.

“But this year, we’re setting our sights higher, and hope to raise at least £5,000 for the Fund!”

Getting involved in Fund Week is easy.

Full details of what’s going on can be found in our special Fund Week website channel, where you can find out more about events being planned, and lots of information and advice to ensure you hold a successful fundraising event.

Or you can contact us direct for more support: contact our Fund Week team by e-mail, or call 020 8240 2442.
