- Veterinary Benevolent Fund For over 100 years the Veterinary Benevolent Fund (VBF) has been helping to take care of vets and their families in need. In the past the majority of new cases were vets' widows, whereas now they are mostly young vets, aged between 30 and 50 and unable to earn a living due to illness or injury.
