There are four types of organisation which confer an automatic eligibility to an employee needing our help. Anyone directly employed by a Government Department, or an Executive Agency, is a civil servant.

If you work for one of the many Associated Organisations, then you are also entitled to apply for help.

And some Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPB for short) contain staff that are working on secondment, or who are directly employed by, a civil service organisation.
