We received an emergency request for help when they lost many of their possessions to the water in their house, at one point 8 feet deep.
The Fund was able to make an emergency payment of £500 to see the family through until the insurance company was able to assess the damage and settle their claim.

We are able to give financial assistance to people depending on their particular circumstances. Every application sent in to Fund House is treated solely on the basis of need, and you do not have to be a donor to the Fund to get help. In some emergencies a payment can be made within 24 hours of the application.
