Fund Week Quiz Night Gets The Right Answers

Despite his extremely busy schedule Sir Gus was able to take a full part in the evening, organised by Trustee Board member Siobhan Benita, and a fellow colleague from the Department of Health, Tony O'Connor.

And it quickly became clear that there’s a real enthusiasm for the quiz night becoming an annual part of our fundraising calendar, as queues to take part threatened at one stage to extend out of the entrance doors...

Eventually 21 teams settled in to test their wits against a wide range of general knowledge questions.

With an auction for a valuable bottle of Irish Whiskey also boosting fundraising, the quiz night raised a tremendous £770 for Fund Week, and will contribute towards our 125th anniversary appeal.
