We’re looking for adventurous volunteers to take part in whitewater rafting for the Fund, raising money for your in-house charity in the process. Your support will play a vital role in helping thousands of people in need.
Take a look at photos from the last raft race held by the Fund, in 2006:
No previous experience necessary – full training and equipment will be provided!
So can you get a team together from your colleagues and friends (team numbers and cost vary depending on location)? If you can raise £1,000 for the Fund between you then you’ll ride the rapids for free.
There are six locations across the UK where you and your team can participate – in Scotland, Teesside, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, Nottingham and Northampton.
“From first-hand experience I can guarantee you’ll have a great time!” says Clare Bridges, Fundraising Initiatives Manager. “It will help make lives better for your colleagues across the Civil Service and our Associated Organisations.”
