A Visiting Officer Training Day to Remember

John Bartley, a volunteer visiting officer in the East Midlands shares his story:

"I was invited to attend a training day back in April from the dynamic duo Linda Eades and Carol Moir, Regional Services Coordinators for the East and West Midlands at Nottingham Magistrates Court. When I retired from the Civil Service, some 15 years ago, I had become very wary of “training initiatives” and was doubtful of their usefulness and relevance. However, I was pleasantly surprised as this event was nothing like that."
